Borehole Drilling

The actual drilling happens in the following steps:

Mobilization to site

Open hole drilling (Normally done using 8.5-inch hammer/bit)

Casing & screening the borehole using either a Steel casing or a heavy gauge PVC casing and screens depending on water chemical properties.

Gravel packing and grouting

Flushing/cleaning the borehole (borehole development)

Test pumping for 24hrs to determine aquifer properties/borehole capacity. This test pumping helps the project engineer in designing pump.

Water quality analysis to determine physical, bacteriological and chemical properties.

During drilling, our team does monitoring to ensure the recommended depth is attained and in the process if the water is not enough as client’s requirement, we do additional depth upon a written agreement with the client until his/her water demand is met.
